Zelda is a DSH/autumn tabby, spayed female, DOB 5-1-09.
Zelda was adopted from us as a kitten and was recently returned because her owner became ill. She was well-loved and well-cared for in her old home, and she feels a little bewildered here at the shelter.
Zelda is a sweet, curious cat. She is a cute compact size at 7 lbs. Zelda has a unique feature, too. She has one green eye and one brown eye. She enjoys having people stop by her cage to spend time with her. She seems to be okay with other cats as long as they are not overbearing.
Zelda began eating a prescription food a few years ago to control hyperglycemia. Recent blood work shows that she may do well on a basic well-balanced diet. She is currently under a vet’s care as she transitions to her new food. She will have her blood work rechecked in a few weeks to determine how well she is handling the change.
